21 United is a Down syndrome awareness and advocacy group located in Oxford, MS and supporting all of north Mississippi. Our mission is to advocate for the inclusion, value and acceptance of individuals with Down Syndrome. We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Our organization will use the resources we have to educate and provide services for families of children and adults who have Down syndrome.
The 2019 Buddy Walk presented by 21 United has been scheduled for Sunday October 13th at the old Army Pavilion.
The Sunday afternoon event will start at 2 p.m. DJ Sammy Kim will again provide music. Medal presentations and the walk are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. In addition to the walk, the event will include balloon animals, food and beverages, a magic show, bounce houses, face painting, fire trucks, kids’ games and a t-shirt for all participants. Walker registration is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 13 and under. Buddy Walk friends with special needs may participate for free.
