Our mission is to advocate for the inclusion, value and acceptance of individuals with Down Syndrome.  We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.  Our organization will use the resources we have to educate and provide services for families of children and adults who have Down syndrome.

The 2015 Buddy Walk has been scheduled for October 18th.  This year the festivities will be in the Grove on the Ole Miss campus. Online registration has closed, but registration will be available onsite. Just come over to the Union Plaza tomorrow when you arrive!

Oxford’s first Buddy Walk will take place on October 19 at Bailey Branch Park at FNC.  Sponsored by 21 United of Mississippi, this event looks to attract participation from residents throughout Lafayette and surrounding counties.

“This is a family-friendly event that coincides with Down Syndrome Awareness Month,” says Jenny Rayner, president of 21 United. “Everyone is invited to join in on the fun, not just families who are directly affected by Down syndrome.”
